I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas day, we had our three sons, their partners and four grandsons with us as well as others, a total of twenty for Christmas dinner. We have family staying for another week, so not much time for crafting at the moment.
I made my grandsons padded Santa bags for Christmas treats and also two fabric books for our youngest grandson, not "Stampin up" but I was pleased with how they turned out.

Team Christmas Breakfast
This morning we had our Team Christmas breakfast at Jacque Williams home, lots of fine food and great "Secret Santa" presents. Jacque always makes her team wonderful Christmas gifts, this year she made us all gorgeous bags with Stampin up fabrics, Jacque is such a talented and creative seamstress.
There was a variety of different fabrics and many hours of work, I believe Jacque's daughters helped her as well as her friend Janelle.

Thanks for an enjoyable morning and a gorgeous bag Jacque.
Merry Christmas to everyone and the very Best Wishes for the New Year.

The countdown to Christmas starts, there never seems enough time no matter how organised you think you are. I finished off a small Christmas wreath last night based on the one which was demonstrated at the Heartfelt event earlier this year. I hope you are all enjoying creating your Christmas items.

Christmas Card Tuesday class
This is one of the 3 Christmas Cards we are making at my Tuesday class this week. I have used the Holiday Frame embossing folder on the whisper white card front, the base of the card is bashful blue and the ink used is midnight Muse. The stocking embellishment is from last year's stitched stocking stamp and punch, with silver glitter paper added and dazzling diamonds added to the stocking and frame. I've added a little piece of the Midnight Muse satin stitched ribbon (Love these ribbons) to the top of the stocking and the sentiment is from the More Merry Messages stamp set as is the verse on the inner of the card.

3D Christmas card
Hi, I love this 3D Christmas card I cased from "Stamp & Scrap with Frenchie" Love her site. The younger generation in our family loved this design. Because the inner of the card is so busy I chose to add a sentiment to the front. The snowflakes on the inner are made using the fabulous silver glimmer paper and the Boho blossoms punch. Dazzling diamonds has been added to the snow on the ground which as usual doesn't show up that well in the photo.

Wedding Card
A good friend of mine asked me to make a card for her brothers wedding. I used the polka dot embossing folder for the top of the front, the edgelits adorning accents for the lower part and the Love and laughter stamp set, which is fabulous for these cards. Cardstock - Whisper White, Bashful blue and the divine silver glimmer paper.

I have 12 coming to this class so had to make quite a few.

Christmas Decorations
I Love Christmas, so starting to make Christmas decorations is a joy. I've made the holiday catalogue front page one with a couple of minor changes, I used bakers twine and used a plain green button as I don't have the others and also added a little silver glitter in the middle. Luv it! The others pictured are made using the new Ornament keepsakes framelits and stamps, these are well worth purchasing, they are so versatile for decorations and card making.

Heartfelt Event
Stampin Up held a wonderful day for Demos and guests to attend demonstrations and view and use some of the new products.
I really enjoyed the demonstrations and would like to thank all the people who made this event so great.
The very talented Julia Leece demonstrated how to make some lovely books made using bamboo sticks (aka kebab sticks) as the spine of the books. It was just what I needed as a gift (mini album) for a family friend who has just had her 2nd baby.
I made a box for the book with a vellum lid and tied a baby blue ribbon around it.I used a number of different stamps, dies, buttons, ribbons and the pattern subtles stack papers to decorate the pages,

I used three of the new 2012-2014 "In Colours" which I love.

Christmas Cards
I hope you have all found some time to do a little crafting over the weekend. I have spent a bit of time making up all the card kits that haven't been used in my classes, so I have a couple of sets I can give away as gifts. I've also made some Christmas cards as samples for my classes that we will make between now and Christmas.
This card is ideal for quick cards that have a visual impact. The medallion has been stamped with the new midnight muse and then daubed with bashful blue and dazzling diamonds added.
The 2nd card, I cased from Catherine Pooler and I love the result.
I used the Lovely as a tree stamp set, with heat and stick, then added glitter. Early Espresso and whisper white cardstock, the sentiment is embossed with white powder.

Christmas Decoration and bow.
A couple of Christmas projects. Thanks so much to Rhonda Fawcett www.stampinfantastic.co.nz for sharing this project, Rhonda has it on her site as a flower, which I loved and while making one up I thought this could make a pretty Christmas decoration, made with Christmas paper and some dazzling diamond glitter. Both the decoration and the bow have a diamante in the middle. These are so easy to make using the owl punch that I am going to get my workshop classes to make some.
The bow below I discovered while browsing the web on an American site, Jason Cooper, Thanks for sharing Jason.
Happy Birthday Nick
Tomorrow is not only "Fathers Day" but also our eldest son's birthday, I am pleased with the cards I made for our three grandsons to give to their Dad and also one from my husband and I to give him. These are all clean and simple cards which I know he will appreciate. I'm really enjoying the new Hostess stamp set "Happiest Birthday Wishes" as well as the new colours.

Christmas on the Horizon
Christmas is looming very quickly indeed, I have started creating some cards for my workshop ladies, using both old and new products. I love the new raspberry ripple "in colour" which works really well with the new gumball green. These cards are quick and easy to make. Hope you all have a great weekend and manage to get in some crafting.
Double Gated Fold Card
Here is another of the projects from Stampin Fun and Friends a double gated fold card created by Paula Reid, who fortunately for us is one of our team. Thanks Paula for sharing your great work.
Why not think about joining stampin fun and friends for the next session.
Mini Album
This week at Stampin Fun and Friends the very clever Paula Reid designed a Mini album that I just loved, here is my version.
