NZSU Retired Challenge

Hi, I hope you have all had a good weeken and managed to get in some crafting. Below is the Birthday card and mini card set I made for one of my daughter-in-laws, the card was cased from Julia Leece @ http://juliascards.blogspot.co.nz/ Thanks for sharing Julia, I love following your great work.

Yesterday on Stampin Fun and Friends Vicky Wright showcased a Mini Album which I have cased and as it uses the retired stamp set, Vintage Vogue, I thought I would use it in the NZSU retired challenge.

 



 

 

 

 

 

Album in a Box

I enjoyed making this "album in a box" that I cased from Chiaki Haverstick @ www.stampinpro.com
I have yet to add photos. Thank goodness it has stopped raining here today and I have the ranch slider open to let the sun in while I create a birthday card for one of daughter-in-laws, I have also made her a card box with 6 mini cards and envelopes. Love making envelopes with the simply scored tool.

Gift Card projects

I have had a great time with the new in colour papers and cardstock and have made a couple of projects from Chiaki Haverstick's tutorials; "Accordian Pouch Cardholder" and "Because I Care Gable Box" which can be found at http://stampingprom.com I really love her work and her tutorials are excellent. Triple Stamping & new "In Colours"

This is my take on the triple stamping cards that everyone is trying out at the moment.I used very vanilla and Early espresso.

 

I'm loving these new In Colours 2012 - 2014, I cased this set made from the Two Tags die from Bronwyn Eastley at http://addinktive.blogspot.co.nz 

 

Card Candy Gift Box

Hi Guys, I have just finished making a "Card Candy gift box", which I am going to give to one of the delightful ladies who attend classes next Tuesday night, we will draw a name out of the "hat". I cased this lovely set from Connie Stewart at www.simplysimplestamping.com  Connie has a video for this project and many others on her site. Thanks for sharing Connie. The idea is to prepare basic cards and add small prepared embellishments and sentiments to the box so that the receiver of the gift can decorate the card further and choose a releavant sentiment etc. I chose to use whiper white and daffidol delight for the set.

Flip Book Album

Fathers Days

Good Morning with Fathers Day close on the horizon my August Classes are going to create a card and gift box with that in mind. I cased the card from the very talented Dawn, I love her tutorials and videos her site is http://dawnsstampingthoughts.net/ Thanks so much for sharing all your creations with us Dawn, Luv it. The card has had crystal effects added to the ties which haven't photographed very well, the actual card is much better. I hope you all enjoy your weekend and we don't have too much more rain!
